Report

Present Status: Professor/Researcher (with a Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering)
Present position: Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Cairo University
Present Research Interests: Micro/Nano-Satellite, High-Speed Aerodynamics, and Space Launching Systems.

Statement of Purpose

Learning CanSat will be very beneficial to my teaching mission of Aerospace Engineering. Simple, low cost, and short development time projects are vital in Engineering education. It will acquire the students with lasting educational experience. CanSat is one of these projects and it has a rich and deep multidisciplinary content.

Feedback from CLTP program

The program is very successful and acquire all the participants with the fundamental aspect of teaching method using CanSat. The method can be tailored and used for existing course in space engineering program or other related programs. It can be used also as an introductory hands-on project in Space Engineering for high school students.

Message for future CLTP participants

Space Engineering is a broad discipline and require efforts and time to master it. CanSat is an excellent introduction to the subject. It is simple, cheap and fast education project.
