Present status: Mr
Present position: Lecturer of Physics
Field of specialization: Physics (Astrophysics and Space Science)
Research Interests: Orbital Dynamics, Attitude Determination and Control, Solar Cells, Space Management

Statement of Purpose

  • To gain hands-on experience on space engineering
  • To appreciate project management of space projects
  • To learn from experienced Japanese professionals
  • To obtain teaching skills on systems engineering and programming with which I would use to share with fellow nationals
  • To work on knowledge and technology transfer to our people from the Japan and other countries

Feedback from CLTP12

  • CLTP12 has been an eye-opener on systems engineering, especially in space engineering
  • Hands-on activities have been effect in allowing me to learn the full cycle of space projects: from launching, through ground station to satellite systems
  • The team work has been the strongest point for achieving desirables

  • To popularize space technology in Zambia
  • To collaborate with other nations to ensure a thriving space sector in Zambia
  • To work in teams with international partners
  • To foster a functioning network of knowledgeable space professionals in Zambia

Message for future CLTP participants

  • CLTP is time intensive, do your assignments/quizzes on time
  • Enjoy Japan or whichever place that the sessions/workshop will be conducted
  • Follow the guidance of the instructor(s) and teaching assistants
  • Work on simple project and its tasks
  • Take the project as a learning curve activity, not competition on project with best deliverables
